Can a modelling agency or booker submit on behalf of a model?

Yes. Select I'm a Model Booker when applying, the model's own name and email are still what's used throughout, she receives every confirmation directly, and the booker's contact stays separate for reaching them specifically about the booking.

What's the difference between a photographer and a model booker or agency?

A photographer takes the images and directs the shoot. A booker or agency represents models professionally, submitting them for jobs and managing their career, they don't take the photos themselves. A model book built with a photographer is usually the material an agency needs to represent someone in the first place.

Do I need professional experience to work with an agency afterward?

No, agencies genuinely scout and sign New Faces with little or no prior experience all the time, a strong first set of images is often what gets that conversation started, not the other way round.

What's the difference between a comp card and a portfolio?

A portfolio is the fuller body of work, a range of images showing versatility. A comp card is a condensed, printable summary of it, usually a handful of key shots plus basic stats, used by agencies to submit a model quickly for casting.

How many images do I need for a strong portfolio?
